Steak Restaurant, Leeds

Project Brief

Hexa Projects were appointed as main contractor to deliver the full two-storey transformation of this award-winning, iconic Leeds building into a high-end, design-led steak restaurant.

The project involved the installation of complex mechanical and electrical systems, including commercial kitchen extraction, specialist ventilation and plant integration to support a theatrical open kitchen and on-site meat-curing area. These technical solutions were carefully coordinated within the constraints of the existing building while maintaining a strong customer-facing experience, incorporating a vibrant cocktail bar and private dining space.

A series of bespoke features, including illuminated signage forming the backdrop to the bar, were integrated seamlessly into the fit-out and designed to engage passing trade through the fully glazed façade.
